New Era of Gaming Laptop
LG’s UltraGear 17G90Q will be the gaming star at LG’s booth at CES 2022. The South Korean manufacturer’s first laptop created with gamers in mind, the hardware is expected to run on an Intel Tiger Lake H processor. Gen 11 is supported by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card. This setup guarantees that the newest member of the UltraGear family can handle the most demanding games, such as Cyberpunk 2077.
However, a powerful processor and graphics card aren’t all the hardware offers. You’ll also get high-bandwidth dual SSD storage, dual-channel RAM, and a screen developed by LG engineers for use in a gaming environment. The 17-inch IPS display will have a 1 ms response time and 300 Hz refresh rate. Everything is cooled by a proprietary cooling system with a steam chamber that dissipates heat to the outside of the chassis.
Users will also benefit from DTS:
X Ultra surround sound technology to hunt down virtual opponents and an Intel Killer Wireless series Wi-Fi module to ensure a stable and fast wireless connection. It’s an important change made by LG in gaming laptops.
Compared to the competition, the 17G90Q stands out above all for its extremely subtle design, because at first glance, it looks more like a classic professional PC than a stylish gaming laptop beast. But as soon as you turn on the LG UltraGear Studio, it reveals its true nature. The software allows you to monitor the performance of different components while gaming or configures the backlight color for each of the keyboard buttons.
The first gaming laptops in the series will be released in the first quarter of 2022 and available in the US and South Korean markets. However, this latest technology cant take place of Graphic cards but we can consider it as a new revolution. Also, visit the latest news on Automotive updates.
