99’s Mototaxi starts operating on January 11th
99 ( Android, iOS ) launches its motorcycle taxi service, the 99 Motos, on January 11th. Accessible through its main application, the means of transport reaches customers in nine Brazilian cities: Aracaju/SE, Feira de Santana/BA, Goiânia/GO, Campo Grande/MS, João Pessoa/PB, Recife/PE, Sorocaba/SP, Sobral/CE and Teresina/PI.
The new solution has the technology and security that were applied in the company’s car and taxi races, such as audio recording, route sharing, button to alert authorities, and real-time monitoring of races via GPS.
According to the company, other cities should win the modality of private motorcycle racing in 2022.
With 99 Motos, the proposal is that the race is up to 30% cheaper compared to other categories of the company. It is important to say that every user must be over 18 years of age to ride on the back of a motorcycle and always wear a helmet – in addition to a mask for the duration of the new coronavirus pandemic (Sars-CoV 2).
In turn, the moto-taxi driver can register in the app if he has:
– Above 19 years of age;
– Definitive driver’s license;
– Observation of “Exercise Remunerated Activity” (EAR) in the driver’s license;
– Legally able to race.
Motorcyclists who deliver via 99 Motos can now register to race via the app. Periodically, drivers will receive materials with educational content, traffic rules, and defensive driving. Initially, 99 will charge 0.99% of the total value of the races in the first few months to encourage adoption among its members.
