Due to current events: RTL is reorganising the program at short notice
Dead, stopped rail traffic and countless property damage: Germany is groaning under storm “Ylenia.” RTL is therefore rebuilding the program at short notice. In an RTL Aktuell special, information is provided about the consequences of the storm and explains what is still to come with hurricane “Zeynep”.
The balance of “Ylenia” is devastating: three dead, hundreds of police operations, thousands of people without electricity, stopped long-distance traffic and children who were not allowed to go to school (source: Tagesschau ). The storm not only shook Germany but also the RTL program.
RTL brings special program to storm lows “Ylenia” and “Zeynep”
Today at 5:00 p.m., the Cologne-based private broadcaster is changing its program and is broadcasting an RTL Aktuell Special to reflect the current situation. In the special program entitled “Orkan über Deutschland” moderator Christopher Wittich provides information about the extent of the storm in Germany and switches live to reporters distributed throughout the country.
Furthermore, an assessment of “Zeynep” is given. The storm is originating out of the British Isles and, according to the DWD, the impact is likely to be felt mostly along the coastlines. “We warn of extreme hurricane gusts of up to 135 kilometres per hour on the North Sea coast,” said meteorologist Franka Nawrath to the German Press Agency.
Weather expert Christian Häckl is supposed to classify the situation for RTL and show what can be expected in the next few hours. The program “Explosive Stories”, which runs regularly at 5 p.m. on RTL, is cancelled for the special program.
NINA app provides information about warnings from the BBK
If you don’t want to be dependent on RTL and Co., it’s best to install NINA – the warning app from the Federal Office for Civil Protection. The app is available free of charge for Android smartphones and the iPhone.NINA sends warnings from the BBK to mobile phones as push notifications. With the subscription function, alerts can also only be received for selected locations. After all, as a Bavarian, you don’t want to be warned about storms in Hamburg – and vice versa. You can see what else NINA can do in the video above.
What is RTL used for?
RTL is used in the logic design phase of the integrated circuit design cycle. An RTL description is usually converted to a gate-level description of the circuit by a logic synthesis tool. The synthesis results are then used by placement and routing tools to create a physical layout.
What is RTL in digital design?
Register Transfer Level (RTL) is an abstraction for defining the digital portions of a design. … The RTL design is usually captured using a hardware description language (HDL) such as Verilog or VHDL.
What is RTL coding?
RTL is an acronym for register transfer level. … This implies that your VHDL code describes how data is transformed as it is passed from register to register. The transforming of the data is performed by the combinational logic that exists between the registers.
